Tu Me Manques: A Poem

how can I continue functioning

as I am not whole anymore

the ever essential piece

my heart’s only purpose

is apart from me

now I can barely move

for it pains me so

in my bones I can feel it

the strickening absence of you

and how you’re missing me too

tu me manques (French)- you are missing from me
